EDITORIAL
As with all writing assignments, great writing starts with doing serious, in-depth research. For a beer afficionado, what could be more enjoyable than "researching" beer for a "Best of" product review?
In another issue, I had the pleasure of writing about the multisport adventure life of Oregon's high desert country and the intersection of craft brewing and tourism. Again, the "research" consisted of multiple days spent rock climbing, mountain biking, trail running, and paddling. And of course, drinking Bend's finest ales.
